Sail & Sign Card Code

G'Day,

I'm wondering if anyone knows the significance of the code on the Sail & Sign Card underneath the departure date?

It has two letters, followed by 5 numbers.

In my collection, I have DB x 3, GS x 1 and DC x 3.

The 5 digit number seems to have some correaltion with your VIFP level, with 01 being blue, 02 being red and 03 being gold.

Does anyone have any more information on it?

In order from my second cruise to my most recent cruise, I have DD02 on red, GB02 on red, GB02 on red, GB09 on red, DC03 on gold, DA03 on gold, and DA03 on gold.

I originally thought that the second letter might have something to do with your cabin type.

A=inside

B=oceanview

C=balcony

D=suite

There is a problem with this theory.  I had an upper/lower porthole on my fifth cruise. I stayed in that exact same cabin on my seventh cruise.  I had a cove balcony on my last cruise.  The letters match the cabin types on my other cruises.

Interesting theory, but doesn't line up for me.

I have the following letters and classes:

DB - 4K

GS - 4E

DB - 7A

DB - 8C

DC - 4E

DC - 4D

DC - 4E
