New to NCL - Specialty Dining Reservations?

Just booked a last minute cruise (Nov 11th) on the escape.  I was gifted a 3-dinner package.  When looking at my cruise planner, it seems that the only restaurant I can book a table for 2 at is Bayamo at 9pm.

 

Does any one know if there is more availability on the ship (as there is with Celebrity).

Yes.  There is something screwed up  with NCL's advance dining reservation system on all the ships it seems.  It gives very limited dining availability and some days not even available at all.

They have a block of reservations for before cruise starts for the early planners.  There are plenty of reservations still available once you get on the ship.

Dining reservations open 130 days prior to cruise, so all other times are sold out. 

 

On embarkation day, go to the theater box office on Deck 7, all the way forward, starboard to book shows and to Headliners on Deck 6, mid ship to make dining reservations. 

 

Box office: after midnight, for the record the brat pack, comedy shows, choir of man (extra fee), wine lovers the musical (extra charge), escape room, Canvas by U (extra charge)
