Bahamas in February?

Has anyone been to the Bahamas in February? Just wondering what the weather is like? This would also be coming from Port Liberty in New Jersey. Wonder how that would be in February? Your thoughts?

We went late February this year and temps were 70's-80's.  We found water temps brisk but ok once you got used to it for swimming/snorkeling (I also grew up on Lake Erie where beaches would shut down if the water got above 75 and my husband grew up swimming in the creek).  We sailed from Baltimore and it was cool the first day but not too bad (and ship was partially covered).  The return trip was in a nor'easter that caused the outside decks to be closed.

 

Conditions will vary, but generally it will be cooler earlier in the month.  I would expect similar conditions for NJ.

All depends on the weather.  Even on warm sunny days, the water temperture is very chilly.

February can be cool and windy but less often than January. The water temp is OK once you get used to it as the previous poster mentioned. It is a winter month and fronts can blow through but generally it is pleasant.

Thanks everyone for your info. I think we may change and not do the Bahamas.

 

P.S. I don't like the new cruise critic boards. I was used to going to the user panel to find all my subscriptions and now it's gone!! UGH!! 😫

When I went to the Bahamas in February it was warm enough for Atlantis. As you can see in the video nobody looked cold
