Golden Lion EVENING MEALS

I'm sorry to bring this up again but did a quick search with no success.  We will be sailing on the QM2 and just need clarification.

Is there now food offered in the Pub in an evening?

Is it free?

Does anyone have a copy of the menu?

Thanks.

Bell Boy mentioned complimentary pub food in the evenings in this post but nobody seems to have reported eating there on QM2.

It was in the Daily Programme on our last cruise on QV but we didn't go into the Golden Lion during serving hours so I don't know what was offered.

I seem to recall that the Pub Dinner was given a trial on one or two ships about six months ago, but was discontinued and no more was heard about it.

It was not an option on the QM2 in September.

Definitely still available on some evenings on Queen Victoria in September.

Are we talking the full dinner offerings and not the hot hors d' oeuvres?

It was described as Pub Dinner, I have never seen hot hors d'oeuvres in the Golden Lion (that's a whole different thread !)

OK ! just to clarify and to correct any other posts I may have commented on this subject .

On QM2 Evening Meals served in the Golden Lion Pub are now no longer available.

*Earlier this year they were Chargeable

*Then they were offered complimentary

*Now this concept has been withdrawn

I have  guest friends onboard at the moment  ( November 2018) who confirm that this  concept wasn't popular and has been withdrawn.  ( Crew members words not theirs)

However, I  also have guest friends onboard Q.Victoria at the moment ( November 2018) who report that this concept has been posted in the daily program ( on 'two evenings only' and is none chargeable )

Maybe this concept on the vista class  (  Pub evening meals)  is  only offered on an ad-hock basis only .

Hopefully this will explain all the confusion posted on this subject .
