San Juan at Night Ideas

Will be porting in San Juan from 5 pm - 1 am this coming April.  Looking for ideas for family excursion ideas for such a timeframe.  We are not drinkers so bar hopping is off the list.  Kids are pre-teens.  Thinking about finding a beach and catching a good sunset and dinner but looking for other ideas from those who may have ported during this timeframe before.

Thanks in advance,

That time frame is perfect for taking a tour on the Fajardo Bio Bay. It only runs at night and you can take it either kayaking or by an electric motored boat. Check a moon phase calendar before committing to it, though. If it's at or close to a full moon, you won't get to see much luminicence and it would be a waste of time. It's about an hour and 15 minutes trip each way but I think the companies that provide the tours also provide transportation. If you book one of the earlier tours, you could be back in San Juan in time to visit one of the many great restaurants for dinner.

Thanks for the outside the box idea.  Not sure the wife gonna go for that at night.  I, on the other hand, am all over it!
