Android OS Tablets on RCL

We have an Insignia Tablet that runs on an Android OS. We have never been able to connect it to any RCL ships. It refuses to load the login/register page due to certificate security issues if I remember correctly. Does not matter whether we use Chrome or FireFox. (No issues with our android phones or WIndows tablet.) 

 

Does anybody else have this issue on an Android tablet? If so is there a work around? We will be on-board next week to give it one last go. If I can't get it to work, DW wants a new tablet. We are not Apple fans, so if you can connect your non-Apple tablet, what brand/model do you use? Thanks.

I have an Samsung tablet and phone and I never had a problem logging in.

Go to one of the VOOM geeks on board and they should be able to get it to work for you - it's not an Android/tablet general issue - just something specific to yours.

These are the instructions on the GET CONNECTED NOW business card given to me on the Harmony of the Seas

 

3 Easy steps to get connected

1. On your personal device, connect to the Wi-Fi network named "royal-wifi".

2. Open your preferred browser: type login.com  (No W's)

     Navigate to any page, and the Royal Caribbean online home page will appear.

3. You will be prompted with the options to get started.

Remember, to log off properly, type: logoff.com  (No W's)

I thought it was logon.com?

DH and I both have Samsung tablets and have never had issues using them on the ship.  As suggested ask onboard and maybe they can help you.
