To me, that would taint the whole plate. It's not a raw egg yolk. It's a confit egg yolk, meaning egg yolk cooked in a fat. It makes the egg yolk like a creamy sauce - it's delicious.. I know how hard it is to try and remember to take a photo prior to taking that first bite. I have a few questions. Our cruise on the Ruby Princess is coming up soon... Ours is a seven day cruise so it will also have two formal nights. Do you know what nights will be the formal nights? Also, I did not notice but I was hoping that I missed it, do they still serve lobster on one of the formal nights? We are trying to figure out when we want to go to the Crown Grill this cruise. Did you try anything new that you considered a must-have? I've heard about the avocado toast at slice and I am looking forward to that... I love that stuff. Again, thank you for sharing!
