Formal nights on Anthem?

I've been through the RCI site and can't find any concrete info.  We'll be on an 8 night sailing on Anthem of the Seas over New Years week.  How formal are the formal nights? My husband would really prefer not to wear a tie, but will if he absolutely has to.  We'll be in the main dining room every night (traveling with an autistic child who will need consistency, so going to the buffet on a dressier night isn't a great option for us). Thanks!

No, formal wear is not required. Sometimes, there's little difference in folks attire between nights. Some do make an effort.

He will be fine with a collared shirt and nice slacks.  There were people in shorts and t-shirts on formal nights, no worries.

We were on Anthem for 9 nights a few months ago, and we saw everything from a few men in tuxedos, some suits or sport jacks, and a large majority in slacks with collared shirts.  No need to dress up if your husband doesn't want to.
