Help needed!! Beach day

We will be in Antigua in April.  I have most port options figured out but not sure what to do in Antigua.  We are beach lovers; so looking to do a laid-back beach day but not sure which beach to go to?  Any recommendations?  Don't mind taking a taxi but don't want to spend all day driving to get to the beach either. TIA!

What about Jolly beach??  We are considering this beach...have you ever been there? Any comments?

Jolly Beach is often crowded. Try Beach Limerz...Tell Gail( the owner) the Conch Fritters Guy recommended you go there. Check out my post:https://boards.cruisecritic.com/topic/2619667-beach-limerz/

How far is Beach Limerz from port?  What is cost of taxi?

$5 per person each way for a cab. Gail will arrange for a cab to pick you up. It is a 10 to 15 minute cab ride..very close by!
