Query re activity areas locked overnight (gym, pools etc)

Recommended Posts

Due to jet lag I’ll have several hours to kill during the night so I was wondering looking for feedback on what areas might be accessible and which ones locked overnight?

I’ll be cruising on Ovation but would be happy with feedback on any RCI ships as they may be comparable.

you can expect the main pools  to be shut down by 10 pm or so.   they may or may not leave a hot tub open. they typically get netted over and on occasion get completely drained in stages for cleaning.

lounges won't shut down until 2-3 am usually.

the gym does have late night hours but I am not sure exactly how late.  you can always ask one of the attendants during the day where the light switches are( they are happy to do so for my husband who gets up at 4 to work out usually)

nothing really gets 'locked' though.  even if the venue is not operating, you can usually get inside( except maybe the theater or ice rink)

late nights are the perfect time to find the  observation deck and stargaze.
