"View last read"

What happened to the "view last read" I hate scrolling forever.

click on the last post, the time/date line, of a thread, not the OP's post. Will go directly to that last post- then you can scroll up.

when you go to the  topic  you will see a blue star or a blue dot   click on that  & not the title  it will take you to the first new post since you were here

True, but one needs to be signed in as a member to use that feature, and a surprising number of us don't log in unless we want to Reply.

I usually just stay signed in

If you are not signed in there is no way to tell which forums or topics have new posts  at least on my laptop

I am usually signed in. Sometimes I get a notice to sign in but infrequently.

Well I didn't know that. I'm starting to figure out little features of this new set up all the time.

Still do not like this new set up.   Old one was much easier for me.   Teach an old dog new tricks.   Hard to do.
