Flexible dining not available?

Hi

 

Booking a Voyager 7 day summer sailing going around Japan.

 

The ship isn't very full at all with many many cabins left (even the desirable rareish ones) and it's very cheap.

 

I can only book traditional dining at 5.45, 5.46, 5,47 and 8.03, 8.04 and 8.05 which is weird in itself.

 

Is it because its sailing from Hong Kong?

I assume you meant MTD. Keep checking the planner. If you have a roll call thread for that sailing ask there.

That is very strange. I’ve never heard of traditional dining at those times. It’s always 5:30 or 6 for the early seating and 8 or 8:30 for the late seating.

I've booked this cruise also as it was a really good deal. We have selected 8pm (other option 5.30) I have emailed and asked about MTD, I did this last time and they swopped for me.

Thanks for the tip! I was thinking of the 8pmish time too due to late port times.

 

We haven't booked yet as we are also weighing up the airfare costs.

 

This cruise seemed to be the best deal on the UK deals for sure.

Sorry ours sails from Singapore just noticed but similar limited choice....we booked with Cruisenation great emirate flights , balcony cabin and 3 nights hotel in Singapore after the cruise, blew RCI price out the water

I sailed rt Hong Kong on the Ovation 5/18.  There was no MTD offered.  We had a choice of early (5:30) or late (8:30, I think).  We took the early, but once on board we were told that early on this particular cruise meant anytime between 5 & 7.;

I emailed RCI dining yesterday to switch, received confirmation of switch today.
