Princess cruiser needs advice.

I'm an experienced cruiser on Princess and will be sailing on the Brilliance next month. I sailed on her in 2003 and have not used RCL since. What things do I need to know? How do the two lines compare? Thanks!

I've only sailed on Princess 3 times, 1 Panama Canal partial, 1 Panama Canal all the way through and 1 Alaska.   I don't know of any significant differences.

4 cruises on RCI, 3 cruises on Princess, and now we are back on RCI for the family activities.

The food will be much worse... That's for sure. Perhaps, not as bad on a smaller ship like Brilliance, compared to the megaships.

But the entertainment should be better.

Brilliance is very similar to sailing on Island or Coral.  Food similar, entertainment OK.  Ronn Lucas or similar headliner, production shows decent dancing/singing.  Adult area similar to Lotus Pool area.  Lots of entertainment is in the atrium, so avoid cabins close to there (most parties/music stops around 11).
