Adventure of the Seas television question

Recommended Posts

Going on our first RC cruise in March.  Was just wondering if the cabin televisions are set up to allow viewing videos from either a USB stick or a media box?  We went on a Carnival cruise a couple of years ago and you couldn't do this with their televisions, so I don't want to be surprised.

I've not seen USB stick capability on RC TVs.

You could use the HDMI input.  The supplied remote may not be able to select an alternate input, so consider bringing a universal remote.  I've seen some TVs on the ship that can select the alternate input by changing to channel 3.

Thanks for the reply.  Do the tv's use an HDMI cord for regular viewing?  If this is the case, then yes, I could just plug into the HDMI input and away I go.  I've also researched some Samsung universal remotes.  I can get one on Amazon for $6.99.  Might bring one of those with me just in case.
