If our family of four chooses Early Dining, will we be required to sit with others?

They always ask no mattter whether traditional or MT dining, its your choice. Sometimes we do sometimes we don’t

If you used a travel agent to book your cruise, have him or her request a table for four. If you booked directly, call RC and put in the request yourself. (You should have been asked your preference when you booked)

Also, make sure you check on your status and remind them of your preference.

 

We were booked in a suite and when we booked the cruise on the Oasis 13 months out we were marked MTD, but TA put in request for early dinner.

 

About 6 months out it showed up early dining..................problem solved......................not

 

When we arrived on the ship we checked where our table was to be and the Maitre D, said your MTD..................

I showed him a copy of our statement that showed early dining................

He goes, oh your in a suite, you have CK, we changed you.

 

My DH goes change us back to our original request of early dining and we did request a large table to meet other people. (We usually only dine in CK 1-2 times for dinner).

 

Request was granted later that day.

We were only 2 and had our own table. Dining was tight though...seems like tables are packed in closer than I remember on our last cruise...could be an Oasis class thing with the huge # of passengers
