we have a small group going together on a cruise later this year,  what are the least amount that a slot pull would work for?   there are 12 of us

2 people, all depends on how much you wanna play with, I do informal pulls all the time with friends we will kick in $50-$100 each and just go for it. There really is no set amount. If I had 12 people I would probably say do at least $40 a person so you have a starting pot of over $500....but in the end, it only takes one spin to win.

I have organized slot pulls for years.  The best time to have them is right after a M&G.

1.  Try to contact the Casino manager after you set sail and the casino is open.

2.  Inform them of your M$G time and if that is a good time for the pull.

3.  Hopefully they will have prizes put aside for your group.

4.  Have a couple of volunteers who have offered to help'They will collect the money and be in charge of the sign up.

5. At the M&G have people sign up and get a number for pulling.  They will also pay as they sign up.

6.  Slot Pulls can vary in price from $10 to whatever.  Try to pick a machine that you want not the casinos pick.

7. I try to pick a $ machine that is next to a penny machine.

8.  The $ machine usually has a $3 max per pull..you can do 3 max pulls then turn to the penny machine for a $ pull...if your         doing the min. of $10.

9.  Picking a Canadian, Brit. or even an Australian will help when the big win comes😃 and no taxes.  Some people will volunteer right away because they are gamblers and want the points put on their card....let them only if they are Canadian, Brit. or an Australian LOL

10.  Call up the people by their numbers on the sign up sheet.

11.  If your in charge be the cheer leader and lead the clapping etc.:classic_biggrin:

12. The last NCL cruise really had little to give for prizes so I brought my chocolate covered strawberries and  one of my bottles     of sparkling wine to give away...so try to be prepared in case this happens.

13.  Divide up winning at the end, usually the top 3 get extra monies...once we all pulled our winnings and turned around and  shot craps :classic_rolleyes:  That was a fun group !!

14.. Remember children can't be in the Casino even if they are just looking....unless you pick a machine right next to the entrance and they are not inside the casino.....also remember that usually the machines near the entrance or exits usually pay off well the first couple of days because it draws in people.

15. You will always have someone who is A Player...it doesn't hurt to listen to their advice.

16.  If your all new to this...that can be a good sign also...remember BEGINNERS LUCK is not just a saying.

17. There will be people who want to put in $20+ etc to play...just remember that some are just as happy putting in only $10.  Those who want to put in more can form another group....it's easier than leaving those who don't want to gamble that much behind.

18.  Remember the idea is to have fun and cheer each other on.

20.  We did that once and believe it or not the $10 group won more than those who started with $25 each....everyone laughed in the end.

Also remember, considering the length of the cruise you may want to "group up" again on a sea day in the middle.

Everyone has different ways of doing this and some are real cool ( and fancy ) ideas...I suggest you just do whatever you'll feel comfortable doing and not worry. I've never seen or planned a Slot Pull that didn't end up with good sportsmanship and plenty of laughs....and we've done almost 70 cruises !

Do you look for a particular game to play or any of the slots would work?

Ypu have to look because the new Chinese machines that are everywhere now have denominations of 8’s so you would want to avoid those. You can look for lightning links FYI it’s better to play 10 cent denominations @ 1 multiplier ($5.00 per bet) vs the penny denominations at max bet (still $5.00) because the mini becomes $100 vs $10 and the minor becomes $1000 vs $100. You can also use any quickhit or Wheel of Fortune machine $3.00-$5.00 max bet.

Just do a walk through the casino the day before and pick a few machines that would fit the bill for you because if you only have one machine in mind and it is taken when you get there you would then have to find something on the fly.
