CaseyLynn Posted February 5, 2019 #1 Share Posted February 5, 2019 I know it says limit 15 drinks per day with the Carnival drink package. Do they really track?

Yes, they do. It will print out on the "receipt" that you get with each drink, as well. BTW, the limit is only for drinks containing alcohol. XBGuy Posted February 5, 2019 #4 Share Posted February 5, 2019 I have no interest, at all, in any drinks package, but I just thought of this. Suppose a person with such a package did reach the max for the day. It sounds like on Carnival that would be 15 drinks. Let's further say that such a person is still thirsty and orders a 16th drink. Am I correct in thinking that he/she would be served, and that drink would be charged to his/her shipboard account? I would assume that the ship would not "cut off" any paying customer unless, of course, that person was obviously drunk and acting improperly. I have been wrong many times in the past, though. On Carnival, they will not serve you if you surpass the 15 drink limit; HOWEVER, you can begin purchasing drinks "for a friend" just prior to the limit, thereby bypassing that control. I'll be darned. Thanks. I'm wrong, again. Well, no big surprise, there.
