Hi just wondering if anyone knows if there will be a formal night and if so, which night? Thanks for any info.

Mariner actually did away with formal nights after its drydock last year. It seemed strange to me at first, but the general feedback I heard from the staff when I was onboard was that the passengers were much more relaxed as a result - which is what the *new* 3 and 4 night models are catering to..

But I think they have a Dress to Impress night, which a couple of other ships also use.

Hmmm..interesting.  Guess I never checked on last week's 4 night EN cruise (which Mariner will replace soon here in PC).  We have stopped taking any formal attire on cruises less than 7 nights anyway.  DH did his dress shirt and tie instead of his usual tux.
