port everglades for Celebrity

We're going on the Silhouette out of Port Everglades soon and since the Edge will be at the new terminal 25 on the same day, I'm guessing we will be at Terminal 18. We booked a suite and we were wondering if Terminal 18 has a separate sitting area for Suite guest and if Suites get priority Embarkation?  Thanks!

Apparently you will be embarking on a Sunday if Edge will be in port on the same day...

On Sundays, Royal Caribbean’s Harmony Of The Seas uses Terminal 18.

I dropped friends off at Port Everglades this past Sunday (February 10) for a cruise aboard Silhouette; the ship was at Terminal 29.

When I sailed Silhouette on Sunday,  November 18, Terminal 25 had been completed but had not yet had its ribbon cutting and Edge had not yet arrived from Europe.  We embarked at Terminal 26 and, twelve days later (a Friday), we disembarked at 25.

As a local, I can’t speak to the availability of a separate pre-boarding waiting area or it’s size; I usually check in at ~ 11:30 and board immediately.  For those arriving  before boarding starts, first boarding is extended to guests occupying topmost suites (Penthouse and Royal) along with Zenith members of Captain’s Club (regardless of cabin category); actually, those few guests are met at check-in and escorted aboard in any case.  They are quickly followed by those—to use Silhouette as the example—in Celebrity and Sky Suites, then AquaClass, then Concierge Class, etc...

The Port Schedule shows the Silhouette departing from Terminal 29 on March 3.  FWIW, we are currently on the Silhouette and it departed from Terminal 29 and by many accounts it was a very easy, well organized embarkation.  Several people reported getting onboard in record time.

Enjoy your cruise

I am hoping to be out of Terminal 25 on the 22nd February Silhouette cruise, it is scheduled to be out of 25. We are also on the 3rd March cruise but it doesn't really matter which terminal it uses that day (although it is 29) as we are just coming off and back on. It looks like the Silhouette is switching between 25 for the 9 day cruises and 29 for the 12 day ones.

Thanks for responding! You must really be excited with back to back coming up. That’s so awesome! After all these cruises and being our 35th Anniversary we’re finally trying something different with a sky suite, first time. It’s so much fun anticipating, packing and showing up at the terminal and being one of the first to arrive at 9:30am on embarkation day. Lol. Enjoy your back to back! Bill

We are on the same sailing in the PH and have been contacted by the shoreside concierge who told us that we will be leaving from terminal 29.

Booked this cruise 2 years ago and can’t believe it’s only a couple of weeks away!

There is a very active roll call if you’d like to take a look. Lots of tour plans and taxi shares, We are arriving in Ft Lauderdale two days prior to start enjoying vacation mode.

You will love the suite life! Happy Anniversary!

Thanks! We have been doing Aqua Class for so long and loved that. We are so excited for Luminae and Michaels Club. We came so close to upgrading to the Celebrity or Royal Suite but ended up booking another cruise instead. The PH Suite...wow! That’s so awesome! Have fun!
