  1. Do you recall what night was Lobster night? We do specialty dining at least three nights and I want to make sure I am not heading to get sushi on that night. Thanks!!
  2. Thanks for the added info. I saw you mentioned last year so I was hoping for the same. My sleep patterns will correlate directly to the damage I do to the drink package, how late we stay in the casino, or late-night events.
  3. Bummer but thanks for the reply. I won't let it ruin my cruise at all. However, I am ordering earplugs now.
  4. We are in room 7165 in April. This is an IV room. Has anyone been in this room or maybe a floor below, above, or near? Thanks!
  5. Thanks all for the info and confirmation. We are on the Eclipse in June for two overnights and we planned one evening for this event. Read elsewhere about the ferry and not taking the cruise excursion. Plan to spend my money on a D&S and some dinner at Flannigans rather than give to Celebrity.
  6. We were on the Eclipse a few weeks ago and ordered off the MDR several times as well. Must have been waiter specific.
  7. Look at the thread titled Overnight in Cabo. Same question with some cruiser input.
  8. We picked a few and our driver picked one. Here are some of the ones we have visited (note: we have done this excursion twice so these are across two trips). Magoni - The inside tour was just okay...outside tasting area was really cool. Bruma - One of the nicest wineries we have been to. Great tour and an incredible restaurant with tapas on the property. You need a reservation for this one. Our driver (Josue') knew someone working the desk and called and got us in. Xecue' - Just a tasting room and a nice patio. Tasted 5 of their wines. Nice setting. Next trip we went to Monte Xanic - Nice tour and sat on the patio for our tasting. Nice property. The next stop was Clos de Tres Cantos. No tour on this one but a nice setting/view for the tasting. They also paired the wines with chocolates that were fantastic. The last one was Vena Cava. Really cool story and venue. They also have a food truck on site. Good luck and enjoy!
  9. Crazy question........We are on a BTB in a few weeks. Does anyone know if you are able to bring two for the initial cruise, buy two in port and have them delivered the last evening, then use them as your two for the second leg of the BTB?
  10. Couples Tour is the name of the one we did and Josue was our driver both times. He is awesome and you can ask for him too.
  11. Check viator.com and search wine tours in Ensenada. You should find a few in there that have good ratings.
  12. Could not agree more with AMediator. My wife and I are mid - late 50's and enjoy our wine. We did a private tour for 5 hours and visited 3 different wineries. Was the highlight of the trip. Then a year later (Dec 23), we were fortunate to go on another MR cruise with the same itinerary and hired the same driver as before. I found one we wanted to visit and he found us two others. Again, a highlight of the trip. We have been to Napa four times and this is right up there with those trips.
  13. The 40% may be the discount you receive on other bottles when you have a P+ plan. On the ship, there is a menu that includes the ones included in P+. I thought I had a copy but I could not find it.
  14. the cost difference is about $32/day per person. This also includes all Starbucks drinks and unlimited sparkling and large box (Flow) flat water. I know the options included Decoy Cab as well. I will try and locate some pics of the 'by the glass' options as well. Best option for getting a good glass when not in the dining venues is Cellers. They have it all by the glass as well as bottle.
  15. FYI...This is an older list. Sequoia Grove was offered for the first year post Covid. This is our 4th NCL since Dec 2021 and it was offered on the first two and now it is not even on the list. A few of the servers mentioned that this does change week to week based on supply chain.
  16. Also just off the Aug 20-30 and we had the Premium Plus package. Two reds included in this package are the 2020 Duckhorn Merlot and the 2019 Silverado Estate Grown Cab. Both were excellent and you are able to get by the glass or the bottle at all dining venues except the buffet. Agree with the above one the rose champagne. It is very good as well. Cheers!
  17. Thanks for all the comments and reviews. We will be on the Joy Aug 20-30 and have an overnight in Bermuda. Will be our first time there.
  18. P+ has Woodford Reserve and WhistlePig Rye. Not sure about tequila.
  19. We did the Norway for our honeymoon back in 1989. Seems like there are alot of us still hitting the seas!
  20. Great review and pretty spot on from our Solstice trip 11/5/22. Only thing I would add is that our embarkation was as good as I have ever experienced. We were at Berth 93 so no need to go anywhere else. We arrived at 11:30 for check-in and we were in our room dropping off our carry-on bags by 11:50. We also had 1400ish passengers but were in Aqua-class and not Retreat. I might add that every person who worked on the ship was smiling and very engaging. They made the trip wonderful!
  21. Was on Solstice three weeks ago and on day 3, had a letter in room from BCC for another free veranda. we too are not big players but play for an hour a day. Mostly penny slots or roulette ($15/spin). Booked Eclipse onboard and they gave us an Aqua Class Veranda. $425 out the door for the two of us. Cruise is Halloween next Oct. I recommend calling BCC and asking if you have any offers. Good luck and happy sailing!
