Using onboard credit

I'm curious to know how that works.  I thought some OBC cannot be used in the casino.  Do they not have computers to keep compliance?

All OBC goes into "the pot". It's all part of your onboard folio and everything you purchase and all of your daily gratuities, etc. come out of it. Period. I've seen the disclaimers that say "can't be used in the casino" and stuff like that but it's never worked out that way. It's all just one pool of credit that you draw on for your expenses.

On my last cruise I started to use some of my OBC in the Casino and I won $400. :classic_biggrin: 💵

Hmmm... I had $200 left and turned it into $150 and cashed out. I considered that a "win". Of course I just played the quarter slots. :classic_laugh:

I wish I'd cashed out when I had $150 left, but then what would I have done for those remaining 13 days of the cruise.
