ScottC4746 Posted March 12, 2019 #30 Share Posted March 12, 2019 While I personally think it is sloppy, I do understand there are people with feet issues that cannot wear regular shoes. Someone posted on another thread seeing someone remove said sandals in the main dining room at dinner. Just don't please don't. It is like those in airplanes, I am guilty of this as my feet swell on long flights, remove their shoes. That is where I stop. I have seen passengers in the bulkhead row immediately put their foot on the bulkhead wall. EWWW!!! Even if they had shoes one which had probably been to the public restroom or airplane lavatory EWWW EWWW!
VTcruisenut Posted March 12, 2019 #31 Share Posted March 12, 2019 I am glad to see this thread! We are packing to leave on Saturday. My husband broke his foot this winter and we just realized his dress shoes are a no-go! That leaves his ortho sneakers and sandals! I told him no one looks at your feet as I remember our first cruise I sun burned my feet horribly, and could only wear my birkenstocks with my black dress! yes, I got some funny looks, but hey, it's vacation and you have to do what you have to do! He will feel better knowing he isn't the odd ball!
