A month or two? If you would lose $200 isn't that for a one-week cruise? If you book B2B NRD do you lose $100 per person per segment or $100 per person for the entire trip?

They aren't "segments".  They are two cruises that just happen to be consecutive.  If you cancel/change both, you lose $100 per person for both.

I kinda like how Celebrity is handling their NRD.  Right now the are offering 2 perks with fares, if you book an NRD you get 3 perks for the same price.  Works the same as RCCL, lose $100 pp if changed.  At least you're paying the same price.

Perks

Drink pkg for 2

$300 obc

gratuities paid

free wifi

And just so you know I never said the perks were free! 🙂

I am willing to book at a higher price a refundable deposit and then switch to non-refundable when I get closer to final pay and know that we will cruise for sure.

That will not work 99.5% of the time as they will have changed prices MUCH higher by the time you are ready to switch! 🙄
