Is there still an AARP discount on British Airways?

I just came across this:

https://www.travelcodex.com/higher-discounts-for-aarp-members-anyone-on-british-airways-flights/

Does anyone know if this discount is still in effect?  If so, until when?

(But in the past, it seemed - from reading - that they kept extending the discount, albeit not always at the top discount rate.)

I had never heard of this.  Are there other similar "cash discounts" (not awards based, etc.) on airlines for various memberships?

Thanks.

Many thanks!

I had no idea.

Are there other "group membership" discounts like this?  Maybe AAA?  (Or Boy/Girl Scouts or the local Chess Club? :classic_wink: )

We can actually use this one.

Thanks again.

Yes, it has got worse over time though. Used to be up to $400 for First/Club World and you aren't supposed to be able to upgrade AARP bookings with Avios anymore.

Over the years though it has probably saved me $10k+. No shame in being an AARP member in my 20s here 😄
