Regal From Front to Aft

How tricky is it to get from the front of the ship to the very rear of the ship.  I understand it's an up and over and down; you can't walk on the same deck to get from front to aft. True?

Most decks on the Regal you can walk fore to aft no problem.  The 6th deck is really the big exception to that because the galley is between the mid ships dining room and the aft dining room on the 6th deck.  So to get to the aft dining room you have to take the aft elevators or stairs from any deck above 6 down to 6.

From Promenade to Lido decks it’s possible to walk the length of the ship but due to the restaurant’s & galleys that’s not possible on decks 5 & 6...no different than on most other Princess ships.

We've been on the Royal P several times (Regal P is her twin).  There is no true promenade deck as on the older ships.  Here's a link to the deck plan for the ship:  https://*****/deckplan-royal-princess.  As you'll see there are 4 separate small areas of deck on the so-called Promenade deck.  Just places to sit, but in the sun as those areas are not covered at all.  There are walking decks up on Decks 17 and 18, but also uncovered.  One of several things I don't like about these ships.

EDIT:  I just re-read your post and think you were mostly asking about getting around inside the ship.  It's possible to walk fore to aft inside as others have said.  BUT there's not the nice wide aisle we got used to on the pre-Royal ships.  You have to walk through shops, the art gallery or the casino, depending on the deck.  I wonder why that is 😉
