Haven Guest Question

Hello Everyone,

I was recently offered a chance to upgrade to a Haven suite, but I am traveling in a large group. I am family of 5 (Wife, 3 Kids ages 8,6, & 5 months) traveling with my in-laws. My cabin reservation is for four people, my 5 month old is in my mother in-laws cabin reservation. I have spoken to Norwegian about the baby being in my room and they have all pretty much told me it would really be no issue since he's a baby and won't be using any of the amenities that the Haven provides. My biggest issue seems to be embarking through the Haven portion of the ship which is only allowed for Haven suite guest but since he's a minor one Norwegian representative told me regardless of his reservation he has to embark with his parents. My reason for wanting the upgrade is for the in-room space and privacy the Haven cabin provides I don't really plan on using any of the Haven amenities other than some brief alone time in the adults only area, I also have no real issue embarking through the regular portion just to insure I am with my child. If anyone has had any previous experience like this or is knowledgeable in this area please if you can provide some insight into how this whole process works.

Thanks,

Lol i've got to do a better job checking old post..... Does anyone think I would get a hard time from staff for the baby ? especially since I am not really using any of the amenities for him and he can't eat or drink the food on the ship.

I think it will be no issue at all.

I also am positive you will be using some Haven amenities.   You could have dinner in the nice Haven dining room and I think you could pay to have your parents join.   It used to be $25 to have a guest in the Haven dining room with you, but check.

Also, the Haven pool for younger kids is a nice place for them to play in the pool and you to watch and supervise them.   Doing this at the main pool is really hard because the pool is deep and because the surround of the main pool is really crowded and uncomfortable to just sit on the side of the pool.    Kids will overtake the Haven pool and one of the Haven hot tubs, you can sit in the shade with the baby and watch them from a few feet away.

Your parents will be allowed in your suite.

The staff will LOVE your baby, trust me. Many of them have young children at home that they miss terribly. When they have babies and little ones in their cabins they put the love on.
