Benefits for booking with Caesars Total Rewards discount?

As a Caesars / Total Rewards Diamond player, I see that I'm eligible to receive a 20% discount - https://www.caesars.com/total-rewards/tr-partners/norwegian-cruise-line.

I've read that a drink card (good in the casino and at the casino bar) is provided in the room for each adult.  Is this correct?

Are there other perks or benefits provided to those who book with the Caesars / Total Rewards discount?

When you arrive at the port you should be able to use the Casinos at Sea check in line as well. YMMV though as far as how quickly that gets you onto the ship.

Correct you will receive a drink card good for complimentary drinks in the casino, and potentially other goodies during the week.

Also note the 20% off isn't off the entire fare. Lets say the "big/bold" number is $3,200 for the particular cruise, you will not receive $640 off. The discount does not apply to the taxes/fees, it only applies to the "cruise fare" and a part of that is "non-commisionable" which means the 20% discount doesn't apply to the full cruise fare.

Thanks very much for the information!

Are frozen mixed drinks included with the drink card?  Is there a certain price point in which mixed drinks, beer, or wine are not included or in which there's an upcharge?

What are some examples of possible "goodies" offered during the week?

Even though you'll book with the discount you're still eligible for whatever promotions NCL is offering. So you can still get the drink package, dining, etc. as available for the cabin level you book.

The drink card can have levels, if your Diamond status prevails on NCL you should have a pretty wide selection of products included with your card. Keep in mind the card is only good in the casino or at the casino bar. Without the drink package you'll be charged for beverages around the ship. My mother had a mojito for the first time and liked it. She wanted to try a flavored mojito, those were only available at Sugarcane, the mojito bar. So we either had to have the  the drink package or pay out of pocket for the beverage. Someone treated her so she got to try it anyway. On our next cruise we'll have both the drink package and casino card for beverages. The best item with the casino card: bottle water. We grab those for the room and for have for excursions.

Goodies they can send during the week are usually chocolates/chocolate strawberries.  Sometimes a bottle of wine.  If you get higher status with them they will ask you to pick choices from a list.

You would start with a basic 'Free Drinks in Casino card good for well drinks, beer, bottled water and energy drinks.  I don't think any frozen drinks are covered.  On the Bliss recently they told us that if you ordered a more expensive drink, your basic free drinks in the casino card would give you $5 off the cost.   I've heard this in the past, but on some ships it sounds like they just might tell you a drink isn't covered.  The servers will generally check with the bartenders and let you know.  Or, you can just take your card to the casino bar and ask....some of the best bartenders on board 🙂

Your tier status with Caesars does not give you tier status with CAS.  (I'm Sevenstar with Caesar's).   If you reach higher tiers with CAS you will get a higher drink card.    Their tiers are based on how many points you earn during their tracking year of April 1st to March 31st.  If you reach higher status with them there are several other comps you earn.

I have now earned Ruby (Ultra drinks) from CAS while my DH is still a basic drink card.     Before I reached Ruby, I was Sapphire and got Premium drinks.

With the basic Free Drinks in Casino card, are soft drinks or any wines included?

I've heard that some players are invited to a party during the cruise.  Is this limited to the higher-end players?

I appreciate everyone's responses.

Yes, soft drinks, engergy drinks, bottled water and some wines included.

When you get to your cabin, look for an envelope from the Casino.  It will have your players cards with attached 'Free Drinks' card.  It should also tell you about a cocktail party that is held before casino opens.  Usually it's just rum punch, etc., but the casino hosts will explain things about CAS to you.

Get to know those hosts as they will be the ones sending goodies to your cabin.

Several more questions:

My wife and I are both Diamond with Caesar's.  Are each of us eligible to book a room on the same sailing with the 20% discount (less the non-commissionable fare)?  We are planning to bring our teenager and young adult so would prefer to have two rooms.

Our young adult enjoyed playing the slots on our last cruise.  Even though she's not yet 21, would she be eligible to get the free drinks card since she would be in my wife's room (assuming we signed the paperwork allowing her to have alcohol), or is the free drinks card restricted to those 21 and over?  For her, the main purpose would be so she could get non-alcoholic drinks while playing.

Is the NCL stockholder benefit combinable with the discounted room rate for being Caesar's Diamond?

Thanks for the info about the shareholder benefit with a casino room.

Does anyone have experience booking two discounted rooms with two Caesar's Diamond cards?  (My wife and I are both Diamond with Caesar's.  Are each of us eligible to book a room on the same sailing with the 20% discount (less the non-commissionable fare)?  We are planning to bring our teenager and young adult so would prefer to have two rooms.)
