Oh coaster that's too bad. It was for a special occasion. You could have taken your OBC and booked another sailing with it. That's what we have done with cancelled sailings, even if it wasn't for the dates we had planned on.

Thanks for the sympathy. We have 2 other cruises booked later this year so it is all good. Will use the money I saved on Oasis to do something different on our anniversary in January. Just felt that this cruise was not meant to be and not worth salvaging. Think it is a wake up call to take less cruises and mix it up with other vacation options. Too much of one thing is bad....

Seems like Royal has around a half-dozen full ship charters per year.

Received an email from Royal today with the following subject. Thought at first it was a confirmation of our refund. Was a promotional email I get at least once a day advertising some type of sale that really isn’t a sale. Should of known better....

We received that one today too. At the bottom it was addressed to my deceased mother. All that I could think of was....oooh. Made you look! 🙂
