Notification of Move Up

Yes I was.  I was notified early in the morning on boarding day.

That nice to hear as the website says that those whose bids are accepted will be notified.

I made an upgrade bid.  About 2 weeks later (about 10 days prior to the cruise) I received an e-mail stating that my upgrade bid had been accepted followed by a 2nd e-mail with my revised booking summary.  I booked directly with X so cannot say how the process works if booked through a TA.

 

As far as a notification that your bid was not accepted I assumed that if I heard nothing I'd be in my original cabin.  I guess being notified the day  of sailing that your bid wasn't accepted would confirm that.
