cruiseluvva Posted April 30, 2019 #1 Share Posted April 30, 2019 Can anyone that has done the whole voyage previously, or booked on one yet to come, tell me, are there perks if doing the whole trip? We are thinking about it but not sure as yet.

That sounds like something a particular Travel Agent would offer.

We have 'transportation to the port' as a perk on our 2020 QM2 world cruise. This was listed as a perk for early booking along with gratuities, laundry and some wine. I don't remember when the cutoff was for booking.
cruiseluvva Posted May 1, 2019 Author #10 Share Posted May 1, 2019 Interesting Cruise NH. What form does this transportation take?

Sounds very good, was this a Cunard direct booking perk or, offered by your Cruise Specialist/TA ?

Whilst there will be the usual Concierge service, however, there will be no lounge. Also we will not have an evening Shore Event this time. 😥

We did book through Cruise Specialist but this was a 'Cunard' perk I believe. It was offered for anyone booking a certain category like balcony and above or oceanview and above. You had to book before the previous August. So to late for 2020 but good for 2021. I don't know what form this takes 🤔 I'll probably wait until final payment in August to get into all the details. Elephant1151 Posted May 1, 2019 #14 Share Posted May 1, 2019 Some of the 'perks' were not decided until nearer embarkation. Certainly last time, the previous November whilst onboard another cruise I was informed they were not sure about a Shore Event or a Exotic Voyage Lounge and Concierge. It was due to the large number of passengers taking the full cruise or the cruise from FL to FL - around 1000 after FL in total. However, when we got onboard in January it was all arranged. We shall have to be patient and see what happens next year.

I can’t choose a different TA I’m afraid as we have some of it booked already, with our wonderful usual Cruise Specialist, and we’d need to transfer it to the whole trip. But thank you anyway.
