Rare markeb Posted May 16, 2019 #1 Share Posted May 16, 2019 This has been all over the national news for the last few days. Interesting concept, at actually at JFK in the old TWA terminal. Info here. A mid-price restaurant by Jean-Georges Vongerichten. Just looking at rates for a random weekend in June, and while not inexpensive, they're not horrible ($250). They also have a number of different day room rates which might be attractive for international cruisers with a late flight. It'll be interesting to see how this goes for them.
Rare Got2Cruise Posted May 16, 2019 #2 Share Posted May 16, 2019 I wonder if there is a bar area. Just drinks and apps to hang out and get ambiance.
Rare markeb Posted May 16, 2019 Author #3 Share Posted May 16, 2019 Looks like it. The pics actually look pretty nice. But... 1K on United. 0 on AA. Not happening...

TSUmom Posted May 17, 2019 #5 Share Posted May 17, 2019 I saw this the other night on the news....I myself am thinking about spending a night there either pre or post cruise but that is not until 2021. I love the concept and nostalgia.....
Rare Noxequifans Posted May 17, 2019 #6 Share Posted May 17, 2019 Brings back memories. I believe this hotel will do very well as it fits a number of needs at an incredibly busy airport.
