Show times

Does anyone know what times the shows are in the princess theater on the Royal.    Our last cruise last month to Alaska on the Ruby it was at 6:30 for the early show.  Thanks

As of two weeks ago, the showtimes on the Royal were normally 8:00 pm and 10:00 pm.

And the dining room times were 5:00 and 7:15 which provided plenty of time to attend shows after dinner.

I loved it!  We went to anytime dining, at 7:15, in Concerto, then still had plenty of time to get to a show.  It was great not feeling rushed.

It was good to have the maître d’ and entertainment director working together unlike some other cruises where dining and showtimes made it difficult to have  dinner & a show.

I'm seeing 7:30 and 9:30 pm on the Patters for this week posted by Deb's Days.

My experience is that you cannot count on consistent show times, so why bother expecting it?  Most of the time we find these well enough synched with dining times.  But the times vary between shows from day to day.  Princess Singers & Dancers shows can be at different times than guest performers.  Also, it can depend on how many times a show is going to be repeated in the evening.  We have even seen matinee repeats of Princess productions on the Patter schedule.

 

We just check the Patter schedule each evening for the next day and plan accordingly if we are interested in a particular performance.

7:30 - 9:30 Grand Princess Alaska right now.

Usually 8pm and 10pm but you may want to keep an eye open for some changes, as they do change the time when they need to.
