missemo12345 Posted May 29, 2019 #1 Share Posted May 29, 2019 Hello we are new to the beverage packages on Royal I see they offer 2 packages can someone please explain the differences? Would anyone have the menu showing what comes with each package? What is the cost of each? Thank you for your help :)
awestover89 Posted May 29, 2019 #2 Share Posted May 29, 2019 (edited) There are three packages: The soda package includes sodas The refreshment package includes sodas and other non-alcoholic drinks (mocktails/virgin cocktails, bottled water, specialty coffee, etc) The deluxe package includes all of the above and alcohol up to $12/$13 per serving (most glasses of wine, cocktails, beers, and shots, more expensive wine and top shelf liquors you have to pay the difference) If one person in a cabin gets the deluxe, all adults in the cabin must get it. You can also call in to Royal and get special permission to substitute a refreshment package for people who don't drink alcohol. Pricing varies by sailing but is typically around $9 per night per person for the soda, $20-$30 per night per person for the refreshment, and $42-$65 per night per person for the deluxe. Add an 18% gratuity for the final price. Edited May 29, 2019 by awestover89

LeeW Posted June 2, 2019 #5 Share Posted June 2, 2019 Note that none of the packages include soda in a can - all are fountain soda unless the gun isn't working. Canned soda is extra. You will get a plastic soda cup with any package that must be used for the Coke Freesyle machines. At a bar/dining room you can get soda in a glass. Freestyle machines are on most RCI ships these days.
