Extra stop with Uber

We are flying in early morning of cruise. Will be at FLL by 9am direct flight. We were wondering if we can have the Uber driver stop at Total Wines or Publex to get 2 bottles of wine to take on ship?

As discussed here pretty frequently, you need to be upfront with the Uber driver, and not resist any extra charges. They will probably work with you,  but be be very generous.

You can do multiple stops. When you put in your destination click ( + ) and add a stop. You can do the same with Lyft, they have an add icon for an additional stop. The drivers don't like this though so as the previous poster said you should be very generous.

It took less than 2 minutes for me to pick up my order and jump back in my Uber. It couldn't be easier!

They do extra stops but they ask that each stop is only a short time.  You will get charged more for the "waiting time" and the driver does have the option to ding your rating if you take too long.  They don't make much on the waiting time which is why they don't like it.

 

Just make sure you are honest and tell them you will give them a large tip to make up for it.

We totally understand. I agree they need to be tipped generously and plan to order ahead. I walk very fast and don’t plan on stopping to do any shopping. Thanks for the heads up.
