Medical coverage/less trip cancellation coverage

We want the medical coverage but do not want all of the trip cancellation covered.  Is that possible?   Do we just put down less than what our trip actually costs?  Just wondering if this is possible and are there any travel insurance companies that allow this.

Check with a travel insurance broker such as TripInsuranceStore.com

 

They'll help you find a policy that works for your particular concerns.

We bought  Travel Guard medical only for a vacation in Canada, a couple years ago. Very inexpensive.  It isn't on their website but I called and they had it.

We thought we wanted a complete travel insurance package but decided to go without trip cancellation coverage, loss of baggage etc.  that is what really bumps up the premium.

We opted to go with a medical and evacuation coverage only. Only about $100 for the two of us for a 20 day river cruise in Europe. 

 

The same agent also gave us a quote for the four month world cruise for next year. Much cheaper than the quote the cruise company gave us.

 

you really have to shop this. You  might check with your roadside assistance company
