Summit - time change question

I am trying to arrange an excursion in St Kitts for later this year and the tour operator asked me to find out if the ship is on island time or is on daylight savings time. For those individuals that have sailed recently on the Summit's southern caribbean Itinerary, please let me know if the ship changes time during the 7 day itinerary out of San Juan (or is San Juan also does not observe DST). Thanks in advance.

Usually, your tour operator can find out what time your ship is due to arrive and depart through their port and/or the port agent.

Also, as these times can change, it is best they find and monitor this locally and adjust your tour time(s) if necessary.

Daylight Saving Time (DST) Not Observed in Year 2019

San Juan currently observes Atlantic Standard Time (AST) all year.

DST is no longer in use.

Clocks do not change in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

The previous DST change in San Juan was on September 30, 1945.

Try selecting a different year below.

Which countries & states use DST and which do not?

It is totally up to the captain on a specific sailing whether or not to change the ship's time to local time.  There is no set rule.
