New Beds, Crown in particular

Ive heard reports the new Princess mattresses on Caribbean Princess are wonderful. Can anyone advise on the comfort of the new mattresses on Crown after her recent(ish) refit? We love the mattresses on Holland America and were just wondering if they were truly comfortable. We absolutely hated the mattress in our last mini suite on Caribbean and the original beds in other cabins on Caribbean, Crown and Emerald left us miserable. Crown has the new bedding. I found it comfortable; my wife thought it was too soft.

I was on Crown in February and thought the bed and pillows were very comfortable

Mattresses are replaced throughout the fleet on an ongoing basis. They are rarely replaced entirely during a dry dock.

We've been on the Crown twice - last November and last week.  I thought the beds were the most uncomfortable things I'd ever slept on.  They certainly were not the same beds that we had on the Emerald or Royal.  And that duvet----what a mess!  We asked our room steward on May 26 to give us two blankets so we could use the duvet as a mattress pad and just sleep on top of it.

We were on the Crown for the Apr TA and May British Isle Cruise.  We found the bed to be very uncomfortable and we had two different staterooms, balcony and OV. The bed was made into a Queen with a hump in the center and sunken in on each side.  Other people onboard the ship complained about the same thing with their beds.
