Savitore Posted June 20, 2019 #1 Share Posted June 20, 2019 We are cruising to Tasmania in January Ex Brisbane, at our Sydney stop we are anchored at Athol Bay and tendered ashore. Can anyone tell me where do they tender us to. I have looked it up on maps and it is on the North of the harbour a long tender if you want to see the city. Rare Essiesmom Posted June 20, 2019 #2 Share Posted June 20, 2019 Welcome to Cruise Critic. This is an extensive website, chock full of information (with a bit of mis-info mixed in...). Take some time to go to the main boards page and scroll down...Lots of places to read and ask questions. One place a bit far down the page is the forum for OZ/NZ cruisers. Well informed folks who live there and sail from there, and can answer all kinds of questions. Good sense of humour, too. I think they can probably tell you where you will be tendered to. https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/564-australia-new-zealand-cruisers/ EM

Rare MicCanberra Posted June 20, 2019 #4 Share Posted June 20, 2019 It is most likely to use the Man of War steps by the Opera House.
GUT2407 Posted June 20, 2019 #5 Share Posted June 20, 2019 Agree with Mic, man of war most likely, though friends once tendered to under the bridge, near the pier One hotel. Hickson Road, I’m not sure if it varies by line or how they decide.
