ON-BOARD CREDIT

We are currently booked on the Reflection. Our first with Celebrity. We are going to have around $700 on-board credit between what we receive from our agent and the $300 perk. We also will have the drink package and pre-paid gratuities(from agent). We generally do not spend extra on specialty dining. Other than regular shopping,  excursions, etc., is there anything we will need that much credit for. And secondly, can we use it towards final payment or casino.

Thank-you to everyone that have been answering my previous post. You have all been very helpful!!!!!

Very recently a post listing all the things that you could use OBC for were listed. You might search for that thread.  Some of your credit might be refundable (OBR) and anything that remains from it will be credited back to your credit card. Non refundable (OBN) must be spent or it will be lost. You might check with your TA to find how how much of each you have and make spending decisions accordingly. You cannot use credit for final payment or future bookings, but you can use it in the casino.

Yes, you can use on board credit in the casino - either put in your casino account for the slot machines (use your seapass card to access it - the casino will give you instructions), or in special chips that you need to play (you can't redeem the chips for cash, but any winnings associated with playing these chips are yours and can be immediately cashed out).

Recently sailed on the Reflection. it was n excellent cruise. We also had a lot of OBC from different sources. Anything you purchase on the ship will be removed from your OBC until it is used up and then from your charge card. Store purchase, bingo, slot tournament etc. As for the casino. I do not know about tables, roulette etc. Slots yes. You have them put whatever you want from the OBC on your sail and sign card. We usually start with $100.00 Any winnings you get to keep. That is what will be on the ticket that the machine spits out. You can cash that in at the window. If there is a balance, it will go back on the sail and sign card. You cannot ever get that back and must use it in the machines. This is what we do. Watching the winnings on the machine and the balance, after subtracting the winnings we will get the winnings before the winnings are starting to be played and then continue to play with the balance if we have one or just finish. Before you do anything they will explain it to you at the window.

Would recommend checking out the classification of your OBC's.    Usually OBC's from your agent are Refundable so if you don't use it, it will be refunded to your Credit Card.
