joseph123 Posted July 11, 2019 #1 Share Posted July 11, 2019 I have read that the Explorer will be going into dry dock sometime during 2020. Does anyone know what type of updates are planned?

CruisinCons Posted July 12, 2019 #3 Share Posted July 12, 2019 They just announced Allure today, so maybe the other two ships will be coming out in the near future.

I hope so. Explorer is one of two itinerary options we're tracking for our next cruise and the drydock "improvements" might be the deciding factor. Jax129 Posted July 12, 2019 #6 Share Posted July 12, 2019 (edited) I bet it'll be similar to Mariner. I'm interested too since it's doing the Greek Isles next year & I'm planning on doing Greek Isles in 2021. One interesting thing though, the regular balcony rooms on Explorer are small. Mariner has the biggest rooms I've ever been in. (even bigger than Freedom which felt big) I would have to book a spacious balcony on Explorer to get the size of a regular balcony on Brillance.
