Has anyone been on the Dawn recently? Thinking of booking the Dawn for next October out of Venice. Saw some complaints about bathroom leaking

October of 2018 - the DAWN was fine the weather not so

She's a fine ole ship - now as for the bathroom leaks -

it is amazing how one leak like the one in the dike that

gets noticed. Old ships have maintenance problems

nothing that can't be handled and should not be a concern.

 

Your booking in October next year - heck the DAWN could

spring a whole bunch of new leaks but it should not sink

your future booking !

 

Maybe by then one of those drafty crafty beer machines

will have been installed and fancy that it leaks into your cabin !

My favorite ship. Los Lobos is worth the fare all itself. 

 

If if you like the medium size ships and no kids, check it out.

OMG, you are so funny.  I'm on the Dawn early 2020 (March/April) but can't wait to see if your drafty crafty beer machines will have been installed by then.  lol

We were on the Dawn a couple weeks ago.  Still a good ship, feels empty if you have done any of the away sized ships. Captain Ron will get you there in record time as well.

Newer *.away/+ class ships leaked too, had plumbing issues and smell of raw sewage too, when indifferent fellow cruisers tossed items into the sink holes or flushed things besides poo.

Yeah, not much anyone can do when fellow cruisers refuse to do what is requested by the cruise line. STop throwing things in the toilet that don't belong... what can I say... they'll continue doing... so, there'll continue being plumbing issues. Duh...

We sailed her in March of this year (our first time on NCL), and loved her. Might not have all the bells-and-whistles of the newer mega-ships, but she felt more 'classic' to us and we didn't feel we missed out on anything.
