Enchantment OTS Suite Cabin and Disembark

Hi All!

We will be on the Enchantment OTS next celebrating our 25th anniversary as well as graduation for our twins.  I have book a 2 bedroom suite (it's a surprise for the kids, they think they are in an interior room).  I just had a question about getting off the ship when we return.  We have never been in a suite before...are there any perks for this?  TIA

Also, any tips or great perks of having a suite?

I would be really careful about waiting for the concierge to take you from the ship. We are able to drive to our home port and we always stay in suites. On our Liberty cruise last year we were instructed to wait at the Schooner Bar for the escort. There were a lot of us waiting. And waiting. And waiting. There was some kind of major snafu, and we didn't get off of the ship until well after 10:00. Include having to go through customs, we didn't leave the port area until around noon.

If we had a flight to catch after that, I probably would have had a heart attack!

While your experience is probably an exception rather than the rule, you could probably get off the ship quicker via self disembarkation as opposed to being escorted by the concierge.  But the escort is much more pleasant and relaxing as opposed to fighting the crowd if you’re not in an absolute time crunch.

We were on EOTS in July in a 2 BR suite, and loved the cabin.  Big balcony, 2 separate baths and nice size common area.  Lots of storage.  For debarkation, we met in Chops and were escorted off as a group.  Bags were in a separate area on the dock.  I don't remember what time we were off the ship, but it was fairly early.  If a concern talk to the concierge and he will take care of you.

Suite benefits were Concierge Lounge, Concierge (booked 4 of us on a sold out excursion), room service (breakfast) and Chops for breakfast.  Also better room service and early embarkation (we were first to board).

We also booked another cruise while on board, booking manager met us in the Concierge lounge.

You will love it.

I was on Liberty for the August 4 sailing. The waiting area was Vintages on the Promenade (deck 5), where we had a choice of 8:15am or 8:45am departures. The concierge walked us DOWN the stairs to the casino where we exited through a side door behind the table games.

She walked us to the head of the line to have our seapass card scanned, then to a section where suite luggage was stored, then to the front of the immigration/passport control line.
