trvlwrld Posted August 10, 2019 #1 Share Posted August 10, 2019 Can casino poker chips be charged to my on-board account? Also, how are winnings paid...cash or as on-board credit?
jennybenny Posted August 10, 2019 #2 Share Posted August 10, 2019 (edited) You can charge to your on board account and winnings from a table are paid in chips, and on a slot are paid on the card that you can cash out. So both can be cashed out. Edited August 10, 2019 by jennybenny
Rare azbirdmom Posted August 10, 2019 #3 Share Posted August 10, 2019 When you cash out, you can go to Passenger Services to use your winning $$ to reduce or eliminate the balance on your onboard account. That's what I've done on the rare occasions that I've won. 🙂

Also, how are winnings paid...cash or as on-board credit? Every game in the casino can be charged to your onboard account. If you're talking about Texas holdem poker, there is an automated table where you play, not a live dealer table. You can deposit cash into your casino account at the cashier for use on the poker table, or transfer from your onboard account at the table. Remaining funds have to be cashed out at the cashier anytime prior to the casino closing on the last night of the cruise. For other table games (3 Card Poker, Ultimate Texas Holdem or Heads up Holdem) you can get chips at the table with your onboard account or use cash. Since you use chips, convert any left over chips back to cash at the cashier.
neverbeenhere Posted August 13, 2019 #5 Share Posted August 13, 2019 (edited) If you win too much, they give you the options of a check or keys to the ship. https://www.cruisecritic.com/articles.cfm?ID=1791 https://www.cruisecritic.com/articles.cfm?ID=2640 Edited August 13, 2019 by neverbeenhere
