Has anyone stayed in E118 Obstructed Ocean View on the Emerald Princess?  What was your obstruction?  I read somewhere that you look out to the Promenade Deck.

Thanks!

Tom

These are awesome cabins. (location/IMO)

The obstruction would be the solid steel railing out on the deck.

They do look out over the upper promenade deck however it is aft of where the stairs come up so most people don't walk back in that area in front of the window.

The window is mirror tinted so during the day you can see out but outside you cannot see in.

At night of course the upper promenade deck stairs are locked off but there is a door next to and forward of 101 and 102 where you can go outside on that deck. It is never locked.

It is pitch black at night and a great place to stargaze.

The cabins are quads so on some ships those 3rd and 4th bunks fold up against the wall and can interfere with getting around the bed if you have it in a queen configuration.

We love the location of these cabins for access outside.

Thank you very much. The Princess site doesn’t say anything about it being a quad stateroom. Thanks for the info about 101 & 102.

Yeah 118/119 are doubles.

The 8 others are quads. Score!

On other ships they are all quads.
