Do you remember the store?  The price?  Thanks.

Sorry, no.

It was a local chain, with more than one location.  And it was not too far from DFW.  And in a not so great part of town. 🙂

Last cruise we flew from the UK to Singapore to board Voyager as the final part of a month long trip (we are from.Australia).

Picked up two bottles of Scotch in the UK to take home. Simply carried them in a separate bag at check in and were taken to a different desk, where they were tagged and taken away.

Last night of the cruise they were delivered to our room.

As long as you declare the booze at check in so it's obvious you're not trying to smuggle it on board,  you won't have any problems.

Weird question.  We will be in Texas two days prior to getting on the ship.  Husband wants to buy bourbon that we can not get at home.  Has anyone had any experience checking in the liquor when you board and getting it back the night before you leave?  We can not go liquor shopping when we get off on Sunday because we won't have time and you can't buy liquor on Sundays.  Thanks in advance.

We did this when we took off from Barcelona, and it worked great.
