Problems with name containing a suffix.

And to be safe I called Royal and had them update my suffix on my upcoming reservations.

We've been held up trying to board when the passport didn't match my husband's set sail pass.  Now my TA makes sure each trip that it's correct - usually involves a phone call to fix in their system.

My middle initial is always left off my invoices when I book my cruises, yet my DL & Pass Port shows it. but it has never been a problem in boarding.

Just checked, my booking form has my suffix.

 

And it now tracks with my C&A without trouble.

We get delayed each time we check in, but only for a couple of minutes as we explain and point out...RCI online registration does not accept that input.  No big deal.  

 

Now it is on our reservation invoice and Set Sail pass every time.  

 

When booking your cruise make them do a space after the last name and insert Jr in the same block.

 

Works every time and we have had no more delays at check in

I live with a IV and V and just last week had to call and add the V to my son's last name because I was worried we would have a problem with it not matching his passport.
