Hub app or better internet.

We were on the Conquest last October. The HUB app was cool for information but really sucked for communication. Messages never received and many dead zones on the ship. for instance if you were in the casino you could forget ever getting a message. We sail on the Sensation next week and im just wondering if any changes or improvements have ben made?

On an older ship, I wouldn't suspect improvements. However being a smaller ship, it has less guests using the ships WiFi so the communication might improve.

I wasn't very impressed with the Hub Chat feature.  As you said, very slow.  If you plan on getting the internet plan, I suggest getting the middle package that includes Social Media.  With Facebook, that means you can use Messenger.  It's much quicker and it allows you to also communicate with friends and family at home.

Just to clarify, if all you want is access to popular social media sites and apps, the Social plan is the cheapest (bottom) internet plan. The middle plan, Value, adds email plus most other sites and is supposed to be faster than the Social plan.

We complained about not getting messages on our last cruise.  Turns out you need to keep the HUB app opened.  We don't use wifi. We like to disconnect while cruising.
