You can ask for as many pieces as you want.  We like ours extra done and crispy, so they throw ours back into the fryer for a couple minutes extra cooking time.  The slices come out wonderfully crisp.  Yum-m-m.

Ask for  whatever  you want.

Did you actually see them crack an egg?  I would certainly hope that the Pinnacle would at least use a real egg (you know, the kind that comes in a shell) but you are not going to get that in the MDR unless you order something like sunny side up, over easy, etc.  It is not just on HAL.  All the mass market lines rely on the less expensive easy to store/ship boxed commercial eggs.  The shelf life of commercial eggs is measured in years (thanks to chemical additives).  I think they taste OK, but the texture is different.   But not an option on our next cruise or our next 6 cruises since we have not booked any with X.  Too many other better options in the market these days.  But the truth is that it is not because of eggs that we choose our cruise and ship :).

When you order eggs sunny side up or over easy or medium, you get real fresh eggs. Have them 3 times a week when on a cruise.

Yep, when they need an unbroken yoke they use real eggs.  But order an omelet or scrambled and you get liquid eggs in a box.

DW likes her omelet with fresh, whole eggs.   At the omelet station, she asks the attendant for fresh eggs, and the guy reaches over to a bowl of eggs and cracks them into the skillet right in front of you.   Never an issue, they are happy to please.   All you have to do is ask.   You can't complain if you do not speak up !

Our last 2 cruises on the Oosterdam there was an area right next to the pre-made sandwiches were you could have a crew member make you a sandwich just the way you want it. IMHO, the premades are a joke.

Just off the Westerdam they had the same setup. Had myself a great Roast Beef sandwich with chips.
