We are on Explorer in Feb 2020 and was wondering if we need to get tickets to the evening shows each night or just go, find a seat and enjoy the show?  Also we are signed up for My Time dining because early ding was not available so do we need to make a reservation each night to dine or can we go the first night and get a table and request that table again for the remainder of the cruise??

You do not need reservations on Explorer.  Regarding MTD, reservations are not necessary, however, if you are particularly impressed with a server and table, you can ask that it be assigned to you ensuing nights.  (The later requests kind of limits you.  We enjoy walking in at our leisure and taking the first available.)

No ticket required for the theatre - just show up.

Ice show is different - the show you see depends on your muster station.  Check the Cruise Compass to see which one you have been allocated.  If it's not convenient for you - you can queue up on the night you want to go and they will let you in after everyone else has gone in.

Re MTD - if you want a particular table/waiter/time every night - yes you can request that.

Thank you for the info regarding the ice show as this is different than any other RC cruises we have been on. I will make sure to check the cruise compass and compare it with our muster station because we don't want to miss it!
