long-term cruise parking in Vancouver

Living in the Puget Sound area, driving to Vancouver is no problem for us -- but, I have no idea where we would leave our car, for a round-trip cruise. Is there any reasonably priced parking in the area of Canada Place? What about the airport or any of the downtown hotels? Thanks in advance!

Hello! Is it a jazz cruise? 🎵🎷🎺 Would love to join you on one some day. 😊 Here are some recent threads to get you started researching. We have never parked DT Vancouver - always fortunate enough to get a ride in and out, but I'm sure some of the locals will be along shortly. Here's what was said earlier:

Thanks for the links, Langley! I did try a quick search, before I posted my query -- but didn't have any luck. I am hoping that some of the Vancouver locals will chime in, soon.

Oh, and don't I WISH that the jazz cruises were on the 'left-coast'! Sadly, those are sailing out of Ft.L & Miami. So that's a long plane trip from Seattle, for a one-week cruise (but well worth it). We've never been able to find out about Dave Koz's jazz cruises in time to book one (they sell out in DAYS) -- but he takes those all over the world!

Nope -- my question about parking is, at this point, theoretical. Since moving to the Pacific Northwest, all of our cruises out of Vancouver have been one-way -- so, no need for parking. But my DH and I keep thinking that eventually we will see a round-trip out of Vancouver, that we would want to drive up for. I just have NO idea where we would leave our vehicle in that case -- or how much it would cost. Thanks again!

There are RT Alaska cruises on Royal, Celebrity, and Holland America. Does that interest you?

Also, here is the link for the Parking Garage at Canada Place - couldn't get closer if you tried! I plugged in July next year, just to get the quote - looks like a reasonable price of about $221.00 CDN for the week, in the underground, safe lot.

Sorry OP, the posts Karen linked remain relevant as the local situation has not changed (cheap parking = airport; pier parking = almost double that price if you take transit but if you're the kind of folks who don't do transit, a cab each way will eat all your savings on a week long cruise so only a longer cruise is worth using airport parking; downtown hotel parking is at a serious premium so unless you book a 'park & cruise' deal with a room you'll actually be charged more than at the pier, and finding such a deal these days is harder than it used to be as fewer and fewer hotels offer it).

Didn't Big Bad Voodoo Daddy do a cruise on Crystal out of Vancouver last year (or was it the year before)

Have you tried searching using Parkopedia if just to identify options?  Try entering Canada Place, Vancouver, BC or your hotel name, Vancouver, BC instead of just Vancouver.

I had never heard of that -- THANK YOU! I tell you, I learn something new EVERY day that I'm on Cruise Critic! 😎
